MTG is present at bauma China 2018 01-01-2019

Visits to the fair - which was held in Shanghai - grew by 25% in comparison to the previous edition, reaching an unprecedented 215,500 visitors

Between the 27th and 30th of November, MTG was present at the 9th edition of bauma China, which was organised at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC). The event, whose scope is international, was centred around the exhibition of construction machinery, building material machines, mining machines and construction vehicles.

The 2018 edition showed a noteworthy growth in comparison to the previous one, held in 2016, both in terms of visits, up 25% to 215,500 visitors, and in the number of exhibitors, which grew to 3,350, from almost 40 countries.

The fair was about the technology of the future, which will be intelligent, digital and sustainable. These will be the trends for the next few years in the Asian and global construction sector.

Supporting our distributor FGS

For this edition of bauma, MTG wanted to support its new official Chinese market distributor Fine Global Solutions (FGS). We were able to present our range of products for the construction and mining sectors in our shared exhibit, where we displayed our StarMet and ProMet hammerless locking systems and our mechanical blade shrouds and wing buckets.

We also presented our StarMet Rope Shovels system, which includes teeth, adapters and shrouds featuring a mechanical locking system that allows for equipping the most common electric rope shovel lip configurations.

We also showcased our MTG Plus LHD Lip System, which is made up of welded shrouds for low profile loader lips for underground mines, maximising bucket penetration and the machine’s productivity. Lastly, the fifth system on show at the exhibitor was RipMet for bulldozers, which offers an increased wear life and optimum penetration in quarries and mining projects.
